Aleyna Tüysüz

Aleyna Tüysüz

Special Education Field Expert InstructorPera Carsamba

Aleyna Tüysüz was born on July 2, 1998, in Samsun/Çarşamba. She completed her studies in Emergency Medical Technician at 75th Year Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School from 2012 to 2016. Later, she graduated from the Guidance and Psychological Counseling Department at Ordu University, Faculty of Education, between 2017 and 2021. She has participated in various seminars and congresses to enhance her professional skills, earning certifications in Effective Communication Strategies and Body Language, Personal Image Management, and Effective Speaking and Diction. She has also attended the 20th International Counseling and Guidance Congress and the 16th National Counseling and Guidance Students Congress. Currently, she works as a Special Education Field Expert Instructor at Çarşamba Pera Special Education and Rehabilitation Center.

Zülal Nur Bayrak

Speech and Language TherapistPera Carsamba

Zülal Nur Bayrak was born on July 6, 2000, in Samsun. She began her education at Terme Anafartalar Elementary School and continued at Ordu Science High School and Terme Private Solution High School. She graduated from the Speech and Language Therapy Department at Ondokuz Mayıs University in 2023. She has attended the Hacettepe Speech and Language Therapy Student Congress and completed training in Interaction-Based Early Childhood Intervention Program (ETEÇOM), Assessment and Therapy Methods for Voice Disorders in Pediatric and Adult Cases, and Lidcombe Early Stuttering Program. Her areas of expertise include voice disorders, fluency disorders, speech sound disorders, childhood language disorders, acquired language disorders, motor speech disorders, and swallowing disorders. She works full-time at Çarşamba Pera Special Education and Rehabilitation Center.

Zeynep Çeliktaş

Zeynep Çeliktaş

Special Education Specialist InstructorPera Carsamba

Zeynep Çeliktaş graduated from the Department of Child Development at Hitit University and works as a special education specialist instructor. She holds certifications in Applied Behavior Analysis, Self-Learning Protocol, and Floortime 101/201 therapy. She works full-time on weekdays in the Early Intervention Unit at Çarşamba PERA Special Education and Rehabilitation Center.

Tugba Turna graduated from the Department of Child Development at Avrasya University Faculty of Health Sciences and completed her Pedagogical Formation education at Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University Faculty of Educational Sciences. Since 2020, she has been working at Çarşamba PERA Special Education and Rehabilitation Center. She specializes in ABA/UDA, autism, and specific learning difficulties (dyslexia). She is currently completing her training in Phonemic Awareness Skills.

Tugba Saglam

Tugba Saglam

Born on August 12, 1992, in Çarşamba, Samsun, Tugba Saglam completed her primary and secondary education at Çarşamba Kocatepe Elementary School. She graduated in 2010 from Çarşamba Girls Vocational High School Child Development and Education Program. She holds degrees from Ondokuz Mayıs University in Child Development and Education and Karadeniz Technical University in Preschool Teaching. Since 2015, she has been working in the Early Intervention and Academic Support Unit. Her certifications and training include Special Education Specialist Instructor Training Course, Structured Dyslexia Education Program (Y-DEP) Licensed Practitioner, Reading Methods for Children with Reading Difficulties, Teaching Mathematics with Games Training, Teaching Arithmetic Concepts and Operations to Individuals with Dyslexia, Developing Writing Skills for Children with Learning Difficulties, Solution-Focused Approach for Individuals with Dyslexia, and Methods and Techniques Used in Special Education (e.g., Scripted Teaching, Activity Schedules). She utilizes her expertise to support the development processes of individuals with special needs.

Sema Müjde

Sema Müjde

Special Education Specialist InstructorPera Carsamba

Born on October 29, 1982, in Çarşamba, Sema Müjde began her education at Gazi Paşa Elementary School and completed her high school studies at the Girls’ Vocational High School Child Development Department. She graduated from Anadolu University with a degree in Preschool Teaching. She has completed various certifications, including a course for training special education instructors, the Self-Directed Learning Protocol, and the Leonardo Vinci Mobility 100 Project on vocational activities for people with disabilities. She has worked as a preschool teacher at schools such as Çarşamba Mustafa Kemal Primary School, Çarşamba Çınarlık Primary School, Terme Taşpınar Primary School, and Salıpazarı Bereket YBO. Since 2009, she has been working at the Pera Early Intervention, Speech and Language, and Child Development Center. She specializes in working with children who require special education support, focusing on academic skills, literacy, Turkish and Mathematics teaching, school readiness skills, motor skill enhancement, daily living skills, self-care skills, and social skills. She works from Tuesday to Saturday between 09:00 and 17:40.

Kevser SARAÇ

When I first came to Istanbul, I felt like a fish out of water, not knowing where to start. After a lot of research, I met Mr. Hakan. On the advice of Academic Dyslexia and Ms. Yeliz, our meeting with Mr. Hakan was very productive, and I said, “Yes, this is exactly what I was looking for.” We started training in dyslexia education with proper programming, correct teaching methods, and in the right environment. Our training sessions are going very well and productively. Ahmet Bilal quickly adapted to his teacher. I would like to thank Mr. Hakan and the PERA team for establishing such an institution. I believe they will achieve great things in the field of dyslexia in Istanbul and will become a brand in the field. PERA Campus is like a dream place, hosting many activities. I cannot comment on the future, but I am sure Mr. Hakan will tailor the program to whatever our children’s needs in the field of dyslexia. Once again, I extend my gratitude to PERA and the PERA family.

Hello, I have been bringing my 4-year-old twins to the Vona Special Education Institution for about 2.5 years. Among the twins, Aylin, the girl, had issues with walking, but thanks to Ms. Gül, she returned to normal in just one year. Additionally, she learned many things thanks to Ms. Şükran. Among the twins, Çınar, the boy, had trouble following commands and had behavioral problems. We worked so diligently with Ms. Sevgi and Ms. Müge that we are in a much better place now. My son Umut, diagnosed with Joubert syndrome, was 11 years old when he met the Vona Special Education Institution. Before coming to this institution, I met with many other institutions. What caught my attention at Vona was their sincerity and realism. My son needed physical therapy and speech education. When we arrived, his vocabulary was very limited, and he couldn’t form sentences. Thanks to the dedicated work of our teachers, Ms. Nevin Tansel and Ms. Sevgi Gençer, we overcame these problems. Now, our letter and word count has increased. He forms sentences more understandably and has gained confidence. There have also been significant improvements in his physical development. I sincerely thank Ms. Nevin Tansel, Ms. Sevgi Gençer, and Ms. Gül Şentürk for their efforts to bring a new individual into society by working hand in hand.

Arzu TÜRKER

When my daughter Ecrin, who was diagnosed with Down syndrome, was just 15 months old, I met Vona Special Education Institution. We started physical therapy and individual education at the institution. Thanks to our physiotherapist’s appropriate treatment methods, she started taking her first steps at 18 months. My daughter Ecrin can now independently meet all her needs. Through individual education programs, there have been noticeable improvements in her personal and academic development. We are very happy. The environment where my angel with Down syndrome has been happy to come since she was 6 months old, just like coming to her own home. She attends her lessons with joy. Thanks to the efforts of her physiotherapist and individual teachers, as well as their guidance for me, we are achieving very positive results. She started walking at the age of 2 years and 2 months. Now, at 3 years old, she plays games with her peers and has even started creating her own games at home. The best part is that my daughter has learned how to learn. After my son was diagnosed with dyslexia, we started his education at Vona Special Education Institution. Due to the negative experiences he had at the public school he attended, my son didn’t want to see any school or teacher.
